Cody Bauer is an associate in HAWS-KM’s Civil Litigation group practicing in the areas of:
- Product Liability Defense
- Transportation Litigation
- Commercial Litigation
- Insurance Related Litigation
Driven by creative thinking and critical analysis, Cody takes a strategic approach to advance his clients’ position and aligns solutions to meet their goals. Proactive in his ability to understand and interpret clients’ needs, he brings value-added responsiveness to meet and exceed client expectations. He keenly listens and clearly communicates to effectively counsel clients throughout litigation by explaining the options available, discussing strategy, providing a timeline, and answering questions.
Cody is licensed in Minnesota and Wisconsin state courts and admitted to the U.S. District Court for Minnesota and the Western District of Wisconsin. He received his J.D., summa cum laude, from Mitchell Hamline School of Law where he earned multiple Dean’s Awards and served as an associate on the Mitchell Hamline Law Review. While in law school, he worked as a law clerk at HAWS-KM, where he gained valuable experience and honed his skills in writing persuasive briefs, conducting thorough legal analysis, and assisting with case management. Cody obtained his B.A., cum laude, from Marquette University, where he majored in Criminology and Law Studies, as well as Psychology.
In his free time, Cody enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling, trying new foods, and cheering on his beloved Minnesota sports teams.
